Accessibility and Inclusivity

By making our work accessible and inclusive, we make sure it is valuable for as many people as possible.

We do this by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0. Information on the application of this guide can be found on the WCAG 2.0 quick reference website.

This section of our Digital Content Guide provides an overview of the specific requirements that are integral to our day-to-day work.

Who is this for?

There is no such thing as a "normal" person. Everyone has varying ability levels.

This is an important thing for people working in digital to remember, as technology often depends on people being able to see, hear, speak, and touch.

So when we take a moment to plan and create for those beyond our own abilities, we end up with content that will benefit a wider range of people. This includes people with lifelong, temporary, or contextual disabilities.
